The Partnership hires a marketing partner
At Missoula Economic Partnership, we’re committed to getting our communication efforts right. We want to ensure we’re reaching out to targeted audiences with strong messages in the appropriate ways. We also want to be inclusive of our partner organizations and investors as we begin active outreach. After all, marketing Missoula will be a collaborative effort, and we all need to be on the same page.
For these reasons, we took a deliberate and methodical approach to selecting our marketing and communications agency. We assembled a committee comprising Barb Neilan from Destination Missoula, Linda McCarthy from Missoula Downtown Association, Bill Benson from investor Providence St. Patrick Hospital, Ross Rademacher from investor Montana Radio Company, and Brigitta Miranda-Freer and Jim Bowman of Partnership staff. Agencies answered a comprehensive written RFP and were given an hour each to present to the group.
After careful review and discussion, we chose PartnersCreative for its understanding of our needs, its broad range of services (including social media and interactive) and the quality of its past work. The agency has started working closely with our staff and key community partners to develop a comprehensive Marketing and Communications Plan. Next, PartnersCreative staff will work with us to execute that plan with clear messages, initiatives and activities directed at our target audiences.
Having this kind of concerted effort in marketing is a major step for Missoula’s economic development. We look forward to including your voices as we roll out our work, and launch the cavalcade of sharing, forwarding, linking, blogging, liking, tweeting and personally carrying forward of the “Why Missoula” message.
