Missoula County Airport Authority ready to develop business park

It isn’t easy to find affordable, developable land that is literally a blank slate. Unless you happen to be out west of Missoula near the airport.

As part of its long-term master plan, the Missoula County Airport Authority intends to develop up to 600 very desirable acres to the south of the airport. Once a first buyer is found phase one will begin, and will include building an access road off of West Broadway along with the necessary infrastructure for the development. Funding for all related improvements is in place.

The location is excellent — just minutes from the Reserve Street shopping corridor and about 10 minutes from downtown, with lots of residential housing options nearby. The park location also provides excellent access to air transportation, Interstate 90 and rail, making it ideal for wholesale, distribution, pharmaceutical and light high-tech manufacturing.

The park’s greatest asset, though, may be that it is truly raw land. As a newly minted development, it is an excellent opportunity for a business to purchase and develop land specifically to suit its needs. The Missoula County Airport Authority envisions a mix of businesses with facilities as large as a few hundred thousand square feet.
