MEP Welcomes New Board Members

The Missoula Economic Partnership is pleased to announce three new appointments to its board of directors.
Joining the Board of Directors are Joyce Dombrouski, Sheila Stearns, and Jason Williams. “We strive for a diverse representation of industry and skill sets on our board, and these three individuals represent the kind of leadership and experience we need to direct and drive Missoula’s economic growth,” says Scott Burke, Chairman of the Board.
Joyce Dombrouski is Chief Executive of Providence Health Services’ Western Montana Service Area. She has been with Providence St. Patrick since 1995, and served as chief acute services officer from 2011-2016 before stepping into her current role. She has worn many hats, and the Partnership looks forward to her leadership and guidance as a member of its board.
Sheila Stearns is the Interim President of the University of Montana. Prior to becoming President, Dr. Stearns served in a variety of senior administrative positions in higher education, including Vice President of the University of Montana, Chancellor of The University of Montana Western, President of Wayne State College in Nebraska, and Commissioner of Higher Education for Montana. She is a highly respected advocate for educational opportunity.
Jason Williams is the Chief Executive Officer of Blackfoot, where he is responsible for the overall strategy, including its regulated and competitive affiliates. He serves as a Director of VisionNet, Inc., Syringa Networks, and the United Way of Missoula County, as well as Secretary of US Telecom’s Leadership Committee and is a Member of WTA-Advocates for Rural Broadband’s Public Policy Committee.
