Frontier Airlines Announces Service Between Denver and Missoula

February 24, 2014 — Missoula, Mont. — Frontier Airlines today announced it will add nonstop service from its primary hub in Denver, Colo., to Missoula, Mont., (MSO) effective June 13, 2014. To celebrate this new service, Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $65* each way through Feb. 26, 2014.

In addition to nonstop service to Denver, customers flying from Missoula can easily connect through Denver to 30 destinations, including Atlanta (ATL), Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), New York (LGA), and Orlando, Fla. (MCO).

“We are excited to bring Frontier’s convenient and affordable service to residents in the Missoula area,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Travelers will enjoy our ultra-low fares and have more options as they book their summer travel at FlyFrontier.com.”

“Our traveling public has long awaited a low-cost carrier, and we are delighted that the combined efforts of our business community and airport staff have successfully attracted Frontier Airlines, despite intense competition from other markets,” said Barbara Berens, chairwoman of Missoula County Airport Authority. “We look forward to the favorable fares and excellent service this partnership will bring to Missoula.”

Local business leaders hailed Frontier’s choice of Missoula as a boon for the region’s economy.

“Increased flight options and lower fares directly impact the efficiency and bottom lines of Missoula businesses,” said James Grunke, CEO of Missoula Economic Partnership. “Frontier’s new service will allow business travelers to connect to more than 30 cities across the country. That’s a huge win for our community. We now encourage local businesses to show their support for this new service.”
