Are you looking to expand your business and reach a client base outside of Montana? Come learn from Kent Bradford how small start ups and firms can escape the geographical tyranny of Western Montana and mount a national sales effort without breaking the bank.
Kent is a retired, software, sales and marketing executive who has recently moved to Missoula to be near his son Spencer, wife Molly (local GatherBoard founder) and the grandchildren.
After an initial job in computer sales with IBM Kent spent the balance of his 35 year career doing sales and sales management for for a variety of startup software companies in New England.
Notable of these companies was one that Kent took from selling the first copy of a “Beta” product, through a revenue ramp to $50 million and an IPO on the Nasdaq stock exchange in just 5 years finishing as the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing. Later he was hired as VP, of Sales & Marketing by an on-line learning company (think early “GoToMeeting” for corporate training) that was struggling with sales issues. In 18 months he grew revenues from $400,000 to $2 million a year that resulted in a high value acquisition by an international public company. He also successfully ran his own, one man, company, had another company go belly up, and got fired twice.
After spending 5 years sailing in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean he and his wife Carol have settled here in Missoula.
Coming to realizing how much all the requisite Missoula toys cost, (ski’s, bikes, rafts, etc) he has decided to “semi retire” and is doing some part time sales and marketing consulting here in Western Montana.
